
Specialised Counter-Terrorism Strategist | Former Defence & Intelligence Official
Anuj Bhardwaj is a highly respected national security professional with over four decades of experience in military operations, counter-terrorism, intelligence planning, and strategic advisory roles. Commissioned into the elite Parachute Regiment in 1975, he later served with India’s premier Technical Intelligence and Strategic Units.
During his early military career, he was entrusted with legal, ceremonial, and operational responsibilities at Delhi Area HQ and later chosen as Staff Officer to the Chief of an elite counter-terror organisation. He was instrumental in framing policies and SOPs for Special Forces and training paramilitary units in anti-terror protocols.
Post-deputation to the Cabinet Secretariat, he led critical technical wings and was conferred with multiple awards for meritorious and distinguished service. Following his retirement, he joined NTRO (National Technical Research Organisation), where he established its first in-house training centre and oversaw multi-centre operations.
