barry wilkins
Global Supply Chain & Security Strategist

Barry Wilkins brings decades of experience in human resource security, physical and supply chain security, and information risk management. As Advisory Leader to the IIRIS Board, Barry supports organisations in re-engineering end-to-end risk and resilience frameworks across global operations.

Previously a senior executive at IBM and Pinkerton, Barry played a central role in designing programmes for workplace violence prevention, information security, and supply chain resilience. Notably, he assisted US Customs in developing the C-TPAT programme post 9/11 and led Operation Safe Commerce—a $40 million Homeland Security initiative to prevent WMD introduction through global shipping routes.

Barry later founded a supply chain consultancy serving high-tech firms before it was acquired by Pinkerton, where he became Vice President. At Pinkerton, he launched their global supply chain security practice and expanded the firm’s footprint by opening Pinkerton India, which grew into their largest international office.
