Dr. Vikram Singh is one of India’s most decorated IPS officers, recognised for his leadership, courage, and transformative policing. A 1974 batch IPS officer and former Director General of Police, Uttar Pradesh, he pioneered the use of technology in law enforcement, modernised police operations, and mentored a generation of officers across India.

A scholar and strategist, Dr. Singh continues to guide research on national security, counter-extremism, and internal threats. He has led high-risk counter-terror and anti-dacoity operations, and served as the first chief of the Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (STF). During his tenure at the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), he established India’s first Cyber Security Cell for aviation infrastructure.

His knowledge, decorated service, and thought leadership make him a respected voice across government, academia, and strategic advisory circles.
