Former National Cyber Security Coordinator | Global Cybersecurity Leader

 

Lt. Gen. (Dr.) Rajesh Pant is an internationally renowned expert in cybersecurity governance and digital risk strategy. Until recently, he served as National Cyber Security Coordinator in the PMO’s National Security Council Secretariat, where he was responsible for steering India’s cybersecurity posture across all sectors.

Under his leadership, India’s rank rose from 47th to 10th on the UN Global Cybersecurity Index. A former Head of the Indian Army’s Cyber Training establishment, he served 41 years in the Signals Corps and was thrice awarded by the President of India for distinguished service.

General Pant holds a Ph.D. in Information Security Metrics, an MTech from IIT Kharagpur, and postgraduate degrees in management and strategy. He continues to advise governments, industries, and international alliances on cyber resilience and has represented India at key global platforms including WEF, QUAD, Prague 5G Conclave, and Cybersecurity Forums in Riyadh, Israel, and Singapore.
