Maroof Raza is a leading voice on national security, strategic affairs, and geopolitical risk, with over two decades of experience as a defence analyst, former soldier, author, and media commentator. As Strategic Risk Advisor at IIRIS, he brings deep expertise in global threat analysis, military strategy, and policy advocacy.

He currently serves as Consulting Editor for Strategic Affairs at TIMES NOW, where he is known for his sharp insights and field credibility. His award-winning military documentary series Line of Duty was India’s first of its kind and entered the Limca Book of Records. A former Indian Army officer with service in the Grenadiers and Mechanised Infantry, he has also been an instructor at the Indian Military Academy, Dehradun.
