Barry acts as the Advisory Leader of the Board of Advisors to IIRIS. Having an impeccable ability to develop and manage the implementation of effective human, resource, physical, supply chain and information security programs to minimize risk. Barry has assisted many large international companies in assessing and minimizing risk by re-engineering all aspects of their security programs.

His previous experience includes his association with companies like IBM and Pinkerton. As a senior manager and a director at IBM, Barry demonstrated his ability to develop effective programs for workplace violence, information security, physical security, and supply chain security. He is popularly known for having assisted US Customs in the development of their Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism(C-TPAT) post 9/11,and managing Operation Safe Commerce (OSC) for the Ports of Seattle and Tacoma (Operation Safe Commerce was a $40 Million Grant from the US Department of Homeland Security to study and test on nine actual supply chains the best practices and technology to prevent the introduction of weapons of mass destruction).

After a distinguished career at IBM, Barry started a supply chain management consultancy that assisted many large high-tech firms in re-engineering their human resource, physical and supply chain security. Pinkerton recognized his capabilities, and bought his consulting practice and promoted Barry to the position of Vice President. At Pinkerton he developed their supply chain security practice, expanded their employment screening practice and opened Pinkerton India which grew to be their largest international office with over 300 employees in 5 cities in India.

Rodney D. Ryder is a Partner with Scriboard, a full service commercial law firm with cutting edge specialisation in technology, new media and intellectual property laws. He is the author of Guide to Cyber Laws: the Information Technology Act, 2000, E-Commerce, Data Protection and the Internet, the first section-wise analysis of the Indian Information Technology Act, 2000. He is presently Advisor to the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Government of India on the implementation of the Information Technology Act, 2000. Mr. Ryder has been nominated as a ‘Leading Lawyer’ in intellectual property, technology, communications and media law by Asia Law, Who’s Who Legal, Asia Legal 500, amongst other International publications. Mr. Ryder has been listed as one of India’s leading lawyers in the ’40 under 45′ study conducted by Who’s Who Legal, United Kingdom.

His second book, Intellectual Property and the Internet [published by LexisNexis] has been acknowledged to be an authoritative work on domain name disputes by the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India and has been quoted in the first and only judgement by the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India on domain names [Satyam Infoway Ltd. v. Sifynet Solutions Pvt. Ltd.; (2004) 6 SCC 145]. He is advisor to the National Internet Exchange of India [NIXI] and a member of the panel of independent and neutral arbitrators with NIXI.

A Leading “Corporate Seismologist” and Forensic Accounting/Investigations expert, Sanjay has a vast corporate and industry experience in the areas of forensic accounting. His experience includes 71 types of businesses across UK/USA/UAE and India.

Sanjay Dwivedi, F.C.C.A is a UK expat Chartered Certified Accountant and Chartered Quality Institute member. He is also a Certified Information Security Adviser, USA. Before returning back to India after 20 years in UK and 3 years in USA, he served with Deloitte & Touche. During his tenures as Lead Consultant and Corporate Security professional, his stints included partnership in a UK public practice, where he headed the IT enabled services department and acted as an Independent Financial Adviser. He has superior expertise in the setup and operation of diverse businesses across 4 continents and clients, including Go-To-Market Risk reduction for Start Ups, MNC’s, UK Healthcare Industry and USA Real Estate development.

After returning to India in 2000, he served as Executive Director Corporate/Risk with Indian MNC Punj Lloyd, and Chief Marketing Officer and Turnaround CEO at Spectranet. Col. Kavil Mohan, a retired Army Special Forces veteran with 28 years of experience at both national and international levels, including six years in the upper echelon of the United Nations. He has worked across various global locations- He was the security head for Accenture and the global head for security for WIPRO. He is a visionary with a practical outlook of proceedings. During his service, he handled an array of responsibilities involving strategic planning, program implementation, security management, operational logistics planning, business continuity. 

He has experience in Geo-Strategy and South Asian conflict analysis. His experience also includes working with the civil administration at the national level and with international and diplomatic staff at the global level. 

During his military service, he was decorated four times for gallantry, distinguished service, exemplary leadership, and dedication to the organization. This included the country’s third-highest gallantry award Vir Chakra and he was also awarded the highest even civil award presented by Govt of Afghanistan to a Foreigner.

Successfully leading a United Nations project as Programme Director with multiple stakeholders on the disarmament of illegal armed groups in Afghanistan. The programme delivery was commended by the Government of Afghanistan for successfully disbanding 900 illegal armed groups.

He was very closely involved in drafting the Afghanistan Peace and Reintegration program which is now being implemented across the country to deal with Militants/Taliban willing to lay down their arms and join the mainstream.

He has served with India’s premier anti-terrorist and anti-hijacking unit, National Security Guards. Has been a Consultant to the National Security Council, Government of India and assisted in preparation of strategic advisory papers on security aspects in South Asia.

Ambassador Gurjit Singh joined the Indian Foreign Service in 1980 and in 37 years of service has served in many different countries. He is well known as a business-friendly diplomat, who has often implemented developmental programmes and expanded India’s outreach. The widening of the scope of India’s perspective in those countries have benefited from his dedication to culture, trade, investment and other popular engagements. On graduation from the National Defence Academy and the Indian Military Academy he was commissioned into the Parachute Regiment in 1975. With vast experience in setting up and monitoring ERM, intelligence networks, governance, compliance and risk mitigation framework, he has earned unique understanding and aptitude to seamlessly stitch strategy and on ground implementation. During his tenures as a consultant and a corporate professional, Garry worked on numerous labyrinth assignments involving data crunching, assessments, forensics, fact presentation and interviews. While working on many sensitive extortion, kidnap, and high end corporate fraud cases; Garry, through intelligent and practical advice solved complex situations while ensuring economic sense for the client’s business. She has a niche experience in risk and investigative practice and has worked on diverse engagements dealing with fraud investigations, financial analytical services, integrity due diligence, strategic business intelligence, commercial due diligence and brand protection. Her area of expertise includes Insider Threat Mapping and NPA Management with diverse models of investigative and risk advisory being formulated by her in association with various national organizations and regulators. She has also trained over 500 bank officers in the last one year in areas of Due Diligence and NPA Early Warning tracking. She is also trained and certified in the Reid Technique of Interviewing and Interrogation by Reid and Associates, Illinois, Chicago.

Ratnakar is a military (Indian Navy & Indian Army) veteran with 26 years of prolific experience in building Business Resilience, Risk Governance, Physical Security, Crisis Response, Business Continuity & Brand Assurance across diverse industry sectors like, Military, Banking, Logistics, Manufacturing, R&D & E-Commerce.

Having worked with leading technology and consulting firms in the past, Kunal’s expertise helps small, medium as well as large corporations in implementing their corporate security and safety policies through infrastructure management, operational planning and project execution. His expertise in risk assessment and risk mitigation through carefully tailored auditing procedures caters to the needs across business functions and across industry verticals. Kunal is proficient in bringing about value engineering and derive economic efficiencies in the design elements as well as project implementation. He has overseen business continuity & integration aspects of large companies while consolidating their security & safety assets on ground. In his last assignment in the Middle East, Kunal served as a security design consultant with FIFA and worked on stadiums and large infrastructure projects in the Middle East.
